Condensing and Expanding

Expanding a log equation takes every variable in the equation and puts a log with it in the correct manner. Condensing a log equation puts everything together with only one log. When condensing and expanding, there are 2 rules.
1) When two logs are added together, it is the same as multiplying them with only one log ex. log x + log y = log xy
2) When one log is subtracted from another, it is the same as divding them with only one log ex. log x - log y = log x/y
